Daniel N. Allen, Ph.D.

Distinguished Professor of Psychology & Director of Clinical Training, UNLV

Dr. Allen received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of South Dakota and completed internship and post‑doctoral studies at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, with an emphasis in clinical neuropsychology. His research examines the etiology of Early Serious Mental Illnesses (ESMI) using digital phenotyping, neuropsychological assessment, and computer‑based procedures. He directs state‑funded programs CHARGE UP, POWER, and R‑HOP providing coordinated specialty care and peer support to optimize functioning across relationships, health, education, and employment.
